Dear Sis─
I am writing this letter from the ARC club in Florence, Italy. This is a pass I’m on and I consider myself very lucky to be on it as it means getting off the damn line. I couldn’t write for some time because we were up there.
Florence has many sights, I suppose, but I don’t particularly care whether I see them or not. When I get back to Hawaii then I’ll wish I had taken advantage of this opportunity to see the place, but right now ——.
I’m all right, but getting a little more “shell shocked” as to [sic] say. Well, take it easy.
