Kenneth Yoshiura, 09-16-1942

Camp McCoy
Sept. 16, 1942
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Hendersin:
I don’t know whether you
remember me or not but I was one of the
boys you invited to your farm. I had a
very pleasant day that Sunday and I am
sure I will never forget it.
It was the first home cooked meal
I have had since I left the Islands and
I appreciate your kind hospitality.
So as a token of my appreciation for
your kindness will you accept these Hawaiiain
curios. It isn’t anything much but I hope
you like it.
Sincerely,
Sgt. Kenneth Yoshiura
P.S.
The things are neck tie hangers,
Hawaiian Ukulele (String instrument in small scale),
Salt and Pepper Shaker and couple of Hawaiian
Dolls.
