Medical Company
Toshiro “Toshi” Morishige was born in Kauai. He served in the 100th Battalion as a medic. Toshi received a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. After the war, he toured the mainland studying photography. His mentor was a still photographer for Fox studios. There he learned the “Hollywood lighting style” and specialized in glamour photos. He opened a photography studio in Honolulu.
